  DATA PROGRAMMER Data Programmers are responsible for all aspects of data processing workflow management. This includes data analysis, conversion, manipulation and output.

Duties/Responsibilities:
 Read and follow complex job processing instructions.
 Plan and execute a data processing workflow.
 Receive, analyze and manipulate data using third-party and in-house software.
 Work with data in a variety of formats including Access, Excel, comma-delimited, xml and fixed
length.
 Write scripts using C++ syntax to perform data transformations.
 Create digital layouts for variable data printing in Quadient Inspire Designer.
 Prepare files for output to a wide range of printing devices.
 Perform quality assurance checks for all work.
 Work closely with the customer service team and production staff.
 Serve as technical support for all projects worked on.
 Stay current with regulations pertaining to the printing and mailing industry.
 Performs other duties as required.

Required Skills/Abilities:
 Working knowledge of Microsoft Access, Word, Excel and Adobe Acrobat.
 Proficiency working in a Microsoft Windows environment.
 Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
 Strong analytical skills.
 Excellent organizational and detail-oriented skills.
 Intrinsically motivated and have a strong commitment to quality.
 Ability to plan and prioritize projects.
 Ability to work alone as well as in a team environment.
 Experience with VB.Net, C# or C++.
 Experience with Anchor Software or Quadient Inspire is a plus.

Education and Experience:
 High School Diploma or GED required; a degree and/or 2 years experience in a related IT field
preferred.

Physical Requirements:
 Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
 Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
 Visual acuity and the ability to visually distinguish color in order to do layout and design
work for printing is required.

  Production Worker Southwest Publishing and Mailing is seeking Production Workers for all shifts at its printing and mailing company. Shifts at Southwest Publishing are unique in that they allow time off for family by working a rotating 3-day schedule one week and 4-day schedule the next week.

Must be drug-free and pass a criminal background check.

Eligible for a $500 attendance bonus at 60 days and $500 attendance bonus at 6 months.

Shifts -

Days A - Sun, Mon, Tues, alternating Wednesdays from 5:45 a.m. - 5:30 p.m.

Days B - Thurs, Fri, Sat, alternating Wednesdays from 5:45 a.m. - 5:30 p.m.

Nights A - Sun, Mon, Tues, alternating Saturdays from 5:45 p.m. - 5:30 a.m.

Nights B - Wed, Thurs, Fri, alternating Saturdays from 5:45 p.m. - 5:30 a.m.


  QUALITY CONTROL - PRODUCTION Job Summary:
Ensure that each job is completed to the expectations and requirements of the customer.

Supervisory Responsibilities:
 None.

Duties/Responsibilities:
 Must use good judgement to help department and shift management staff make decisions as to how to fix any mistakes in production.
 Takes samples and judges them to establish if all customer and USPS requirements are being met.
 Check each machine for correct set up, doubles, skips, poor printing, poor folding, adhering of additional materials to product.
 Maintain contact with each department to watch for poor product.
 Stop poor product from leaving any department that creates it.
 Performs other duties as required.

Required Skills/Abilities:
 Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos.
 Ability to write simple correspondence.
 Ability to effectively present information in one on one and small groups situations to other employees of the organization.
 Ability to do basic mathematical functions.

Education and Experience:
 High School Diploma or GED.
 Must be able to read, write, and do basic math.

Physical Requirements:
 Requires the constant lifting of 15 to 25Lbs.
 Ability to push/pull a pallet jack to move material.
 Requires the bending at the waist.
 Requires continuous walking and standing.
 Requires stooping on occasion.
